Key Responsibilities: Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.Coordinating computer network access and use.Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.Work closely with the Insitec architects and engineers to develop end-to-end solutions for our clients. Essential Criteria: Demonstrated high level communications skills, both verbal and written,Demonstrated qualifications (tertiary or industry)Demonstrated experience working with Windows and RHEL/Fedora virtual connectivityDemonstrated experience in working with tactical networksDemonstrated capacity to work cohesively in an inclusive, values-based team environment, Demonstrated high level prioritisation and organisational skills, including planning, management, and relevant documentation Demonstrated understanding of the Information Technology (IT) industry – specifically related to the Australian Defence community including concepts, functions and roles,Demonstrated experience in diverse IT disciplines, focused on physical and virtualised networking.
